Rules

  • Please turn in all scorecards to the golf club upon completion of the tournament for scoring.
  • Four-person team scramble
  • Each person hits a tee shot. The team selects the ball location from which to play his or her next shot.
Each person will drop his or her ball within one club length of the original selected ball location. Should the selected ball be within the area of a hazard, all balls will be played from a position similar to that of the selected ball. Continue this process until on the green.
  • Once on the green, the ball should be marked. Each person will putt from that spot. There is a two putt max. The process is repeated until the ball is holed out. Upon completing the hole, enter the team score on the digital scorecard or physical scorecard in the cart and proceed to the next hole. Bogey maximum score.
  • Please note: On the green, all putts inside putter leather are gimmies. Play unmarked native areas as lateral hazards.
  • If playing as a threesome, one member of the threesome may on a rotational basis, hit or putt an extra time to compensate for the fourth person.
  • Each group is subject to the Broadmoor Golf Club Pace of Play Policy. Be sure to maintain contact with the group in front of you. Please cooperate with Broadmoor Golf Club personnel should they ask you to pick up your pace or move to your proper position on the course. This will ensure an enjoyable round for all.
  • There will be a 1st place and 2nd winner on the East course, and a 1st place and 2nd place winner on the West course. We will determine tiebreakers by the following:
  • Tiebreaker 1: Best score on the #1 handicapped hole – East Course hole 13, West Course hole 6
  • Tiebreaker 2: Back 9 best score
  • Tiebreaker 3: Final 6 holes best score
  • Mulligans and string
  • A mulligan is a second chance to swing or putt, without adding an extra stroke to the golfer’s scorecard.
 Limit: Four mulligans per golfer.
  • Using the length of the string, a golfer may move their ball to any new position without penalty. If desired, golfers may move their ball several times by cutting their string into smaller pieces. Once a length of string is used, it can not be used again.
  • Each group should keep track of where their mulligans and string are used. Mulligans and string cannot be used for contest holes. Please do not delay play when using mulligans and string.
